I would NOT postpone the interview.....The ban could be lifted soon......Attending the interview will put you a step closer when that happens.

Go on with the appointment... it's just sad and not right, i still feel this is the wrong category of visa to Ban. And again when laws like this apply, it's not supposed to affect those who applied/approved before the effective date. I believe in miracles.

Do you have a reference for that?  My understanding is that it affects visas not issued as of the start date.......but I'm not 100% certain.

Not really, I'm just thinking out loud. We all just have to wait for people's interview reviews for next week, and see what happens.

And i don't know if they will allow spouses visit (B1/B2) since that isn't banned at least, this is so unfair.

Unless something has changed, B1/B2 visas are not affected.  I am waiting to see if K-1s are halted....

Yeah, it's not affected. I'm just saying if they don't issue immigrant Visas as per the ban.

When a spouse applies, i don't know if they will be granted the Visiting Visa, so one can go visit their spouses. You know.

For the K1, we don't know yet, let's wait and see how the weeks ahead unfolds.

I highly doubt it.......A visiting spouse, it seem to me, would be a high risk of staying inside the US/filing for adjustment of status.  I suspect we will see an increase in those denied entry as well.

I'm not even going to risk staying, i know the drill and laws, if you try to outsmart them, they will catch up with you in future, I'm not even ready.

I just wish and want to be with my husband, the time apart is killing.

These is so unfair on families seriously.

I pray the ban is lifted in no time.
