Hello Everyone!

My partner and I are trying to file I-130 and I-130a.

As a recent change, now we can file I-130 online it seems.

1. Has anyone submitted I-130 online? If so, would you please share your experience?

I am trying to figure out how to send our photos to prove our bona fide marriage.

2. Also, do you add names, locations, dates etc. in the photos or on the back of the photos?

My partner has been busy, and we have not being able to make much progress yet.

So I am doing some research on this process as much as I can...

Thank you for reading! And I appreciate your help in advance :)

Hi!

We filed online, I highly recommend. When it comes to photos I created a powerpoint presentation with 2 photos/slide, I added dates and locations (or some short explanations) under each photo. I saved it as PDF and that's how we uploaded it :)

Thanks AlexTragedy for your reply!! Now I know what to do :)

May I ask you more questions, hope you don't mind...

1. We believe that we have to submit I-130 for my partner who has US citizenship and I-130a for myself.

As far as I know it is I-130 that you can file online, not I-130a. How did you submit your I-130a along with I-130?

This question may be easy to find out once we start filing online; however, I cannot ask my partner to hurry up and do it for us right now...

2. For I-130a, I have to use the extra space, which is on the last page of the applications, to add my address history and employment history. The space only has lines...do you know by any chance how to fill that out?

Thanks for your kind help :)

You upload a filled I-130A in the attachments. I think there is a special box for that.

I didn't do that, but I would do it with the same structure as in the application. So write either the numbers of each line or the numbers with names, e.g.

1. Name of Employer: XXX

2a. Street Number and Name: YYY

etc

I would do it that way. Hope it helps!
