Hello guys,

I had a interviewed on 24 October 2019 at Mumbai consulate. Interview went well she asked some basic questions and some proofs( pics, calls and chats). In the end of the interview she said case put on Administrative processing when it's done we will contact you. Letter say your file is incomplete and case on administrative processing. I asked what it is mean?, why incomplete? but she said we will contact you. No docs asked. 58 days is passed now but nothing changes in status only few date updates.

If they are updating the dates it means they are "touching" your record with due processes.  Mumbai can take 2 weeks, a month, 6 months and sometimes longer. Your mileage may vary. More Patience is needed.

So far I am just waiting on embassy to contact us, if didn’t hear anything from them in coming months then will do a congressional inquiry, but I heard any outside inquiry won’t matter anymore and This AP cannot be waved expedited , so bottom line is there is nothing any one could do to solve the AP other then state department
