Paying USCIS fee with credit card. Credit processing fee?

5 posts in this topic

I noticed that the USCIS expanded credit card payments to the i-751 process among other things. If I opt to use a credit card for paying the fees will the USCIS hit me with a processing fee (e.g. 3% fee for credit card)? I've been searching all over for this information but can't seem to locate anything definitive. Usually government agencies charge a processing fee to use credit cards for payment... either a flat dollar amount or a percentage.

Thanks in advance.

Pay With a Credit Card

If you file an application, petition, or request with a USCIS Lockbox facility, you may pay your filing fee and biometric services fee, if applicable, with a credit card at no additional cost.
