Well as title states, i'm slightly stressed out.

We just realized my wife (beneficiary) doesn't have original BC with her (left it back in LT), and our interview is tomorrow. She has a notarized copy + Translation. Is that a problem? Or they don't really care about BC's?

I do have my BC and translation, passport etc.

Thanks

Do you have a copy of it from the I129F package?  Overall, you should be fine, but in case the IO asks for it, I would have someone send it to you.

Good Luck!

She has it in LT, but it won't make it till tomorrow interview for sure. Even if its overnighted.

We do have a copy of it + it's notarized + notarized translation of it. It's just we don't have the Original on us now, and we realized yesterday evening.

Sorry, I did not see that you have a notarized copy with translation, you should be fine for the interview, no need to stress out.  Your wife though should get the document from LIT at some point to keep her records complete.

This was one of those times where i said "you know what? You have the checklist, and a month heads up for the interview, get the paperwork together yourself now". Checked it up yesterday, my first question was Org Birth Certificate is in there i assume?

Now i'm here... asking questions on VJ myself lol

Thanks @Bill & Katya

my husband's BC was never original but it was notarized. and they accepted all copies of it with translation with no issues. dont ever give them the original, that is for your own record. don't stress.

First question asked was “birth certificated. Both of you. Originals.” Haha

but all went good. Approved. He seemed annoyed, but i told him that they’re notarized and it was good enough.
