Hi! Hope someone can help us as we have a wedding date in February set ! Our case is at the NVC with a case number it got there on October 3 and will be shipped off to embassy in Dublin Ireland . Would anyone have an idea when it will be shipped out ?  . Does anyone have any idea how long it stays at the NVC? And since we have the case number can we book the medical with the approved doctor now ?  Thank you so much in advance

Have you tried to schedule it yourself?  For most countries the applicant schedules the k1 interview not the consulate

Just as an aside - one of the strongest recommendations we make here is to never, ever make non-refundable/changeable wedding plans (or moving arrangements or quit your job) on a K-1 until the beneficiary has their visa, has verified there are no errors, and has verified the sealed envelope is undamaged.

The nvc status shows at NVC

If historical shipment data is correct,  it won't ship until 11/12.

YMMV
