I will soon file my AOS, EAD and AP all together. I don't have an emergency right now, but I might have one sometime as my granny's health is declining. I also would like to travel sometimes.

In this case, while filing I-131 can I just say "I want to visit my family" without adding any other health documents/doctor's reports/death certificates?

I131 application for AOS concurrent filing dues not require evidence of emergency travel or any scheduled travel plans ... that is needed for other uses of the I131.... so you do not need to add details or evidence

The I-131 application is a breeze compared to some of the other AOS-related applications. Don't overlook the important bolded and italicized statement near the bottom of page 2 of the application:

Quote

If you are applying for a non-DACA related Advance Parole Document, skip to Part 7; DACA recipients must complete Part 4 before skipping to Part 7.

Additionally, the VJ filled out Form I-131 example is quite helpful.

Good luck on your immigration journey.
