But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

If you cram for a math exam, then pass it with a good mark, then enroll in a more advanced class you may find that you're having a lot of difficulties.

If you had a couple of months to study for the test, then you could be certain that you absorbed most of the material; but one night of cramming just isn't enough. Just take the test, and if you do poorly you can probably take it again after a longer period of study. Or, you could take an easier math class. There's no shame in forgetting things that you learned 8 years ago and haven't used since. I bet most people here would do poorly on an algebra test; it's not because they're stupid. It's because they haven't looked at it in years.

Don't take that attitude; math is essential and algebra is a stepping stone to more advanced (and more useful) math. Algebra is actually pretty easy once you break it down. My algebra isn't good enough to teach it, but I have revisited the subject in the last year and actually enjoyed it immensely.

If you go into math class with the attitude that you're going to hate it, then you're going to be miserable. I loved math in high school.

i understand your point, it was my worse subject in school and college..hated it and saw no use for it, in my field

The thing is...people use math and even basic algebra almost every day without realizing it.

I tutored junior high kids in math as part of my sorority's philanthropy project and I found that all of the ones who were doing poorly had a bad attitude to math. I worked not only on helping them understand the material but on challenging and changing their attitudes to math as well. They were all under the mistaken impression that math HAD to be difficult. It doesn't, really, and subjects like algebra, geometry, and trigonometry are actually pretty simple if you break them down properly. If you go into it with a positive attitude it can make a difference. The girls were the worst; their attitudes were hard to change because they thought that girls couldn't be good at math. Ha, ha, ha.

Hmm....Alegebra is so easy. Try Differential Vector Anaylsis, Calculus, Estimation Theory, etc...

obviously ;)

Just make sure you understand the basics. A little refresher and once you get into the grooves of things you'll be OK, just don't rush it in case you have to do futher math studies.

Here's a nerdy old high school Joke,

Nerdy guy walk to this gal, but he's a good looking nerd, ask her if he wants some help with her math homework, and he'll tutor her. One day they got deep into the math lesson, and she wanted to thank him, so she ask him, write down any math question on the board and she will do it, so she said DEAL.

Have (INTEGRAL of E to the X) with me,

It's a possibitlity since you and your boyfriend are broke up, therefore the answer to the problem is YES, because he's now and

Ex

Hmm let me see how many folks here got it.

That's an old joke. There's no such thing as integral to the x without the dx. Anyway, Se^x. Simple joke. What about Integral of E to the X = Integral of U to the N?

Yes yes, we all know you're an engineer and are absolutely brilliant and speak perfect English.

I know several engineers...mostly petroleum and EE, and I don't know a single EE who made above a C in vector calculus. It's damn hard. My husband has a degree in theoretical physics and he got a B, yay him!
