We have an on-going K1 Visa Petition and I want to visit my fiancé for Thanksgiving. We already have our NOA1 last August 2019 and we are now waiting for our NOA2. I already have a B1/B2 US Tourist Visa. Is it okay to enter the US while our petition is on-going? Can anyone share their experience on this?

I agree, visiting is allowed, and it can also help bolster a petition and visa application (more face time).

FYI, That pinned thread, Yes, you can visit!, is the first posting at the top of the K1 Process and Procedures Forum, has over 140 pages of comments, over 2,000 responses, and has been viewed over 400,000 times. As such, you could say it is a very, very often asked question. B-)

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Thank you! :) Yes I realized too late that that thread has recent posts. When I opened it the posts were from 2007. I just found out that there are current replies too. Now I have no idea how to delete my original post lol
