  1. If you vaccination sheet is marked complete, then no. Otherwise you need the vaccinations transcribed on it.
  2. Wrong question - you want to apply based on a pending I-485 application: (c)(9)
    1. The reason i say wrong question is that is not a basis for an EAD. K-1 status alone is under (a)(6), but only for the original 90 days so it's useless (and isn't free, unlike (c)(9)).

Thank you for your reply:

Of course I will file the I-485 with the I-765 and I-131...

VJ’s step by step guide on how to file for adjustment of status for K-1 and K-3 visa holders states “I-485's can take anywhere from several months to several years to be approved.”

I was just curious, does the EAD and travel document also take several months to several years to be approved and mailed?

Do I need to include the vaccination documentation worksheet that indicates vaccination requirements are completed with the I-485 application?

EAD currently 4 5 to 6.5 months

If marked complete,  the Ds3025 does not need to be included, as the ds3025 needs to have been included in the overseas medical report for it ito be accepted.

1) Is form I-864, Part 6, line 20, asking for adjusted gross income from IRS form 1040?

2) Form I-864, Part 5, line 3 says "if you are married, enter 1 for your spouse" The person I am sponsoring is my wife, who I already entered on part 5, line 1. Very confusing, because it also says do not count any member of your household more than once. ???

1)  My Current Annual Household Income (Total all lines from Part 6.Item Numbers 7., 10., 13., 16., and 19.; the total will be compared to Federal Poverty Guidelines on Form I-864P.)"

No. This is the sum of #s 7, 10, 13, 16, and 19. Those are the lines for income being included from other household members. Those individual lines would be their current income (as should be noted on each person's I-864A, unless it's the intending immigrant's income being counted since no I-864A is needed from them).

2) Do not count any person more than once. So enter 0 if your spouse was counted previously in that section.

Thanks for your replies, very helpful. I have been using the advise from visa journey forum and so far I have a very good timeline, 13 months from filing I-129F until wedding. No requests for additional evidence so far...

I have been reading that I should include an updated employment verification letter with form I-864 (not the one used during K1 process). The employment verification letter I included with form I-134 is dated 2/8/2019. Will it be likely to be unacceptable or returned if I submit that same letter with I-864?

I’m trying to submit this I-485 AOS package in a timely manner because the rules will change again on 10/15/2019.

Its been over 6 months the letter of employment has been issued.

In your shoes I would definitely try to get a new one.

If your spouse asks for it tomorrow they should most likely get it by the end of the week.

  • 3 weeks later...

1) Our AOS applications (I-485, I-864, I-765 and I-131) were delivered to PO Box 805887 Chicago, IL on 10/9/19 with USPS tracking verified. So far there has been no check cashed and no G-1145 E response. How long do we need to wait for response and what is the best way to inquire/speed up the process?

2) We applied for social security number on 8/19/19 and there has been no response. How long does it take to get a social security number and what is the best way to inquire/speed up that process?

Thanks for any help/replies.
