Which, in my mind, means the primary Sponsor financial documents are more important than some people think......

Okay.. And i also want to ask if i still do need a joint sponsor when the 2 children becomes citizen next month and it will be just both of us left to support each other???

Children under age of majority (usually 18) are listed in the USC’s household whether they are USC’s or not.  No matter where they are or where they live.

Grown children are not included unless they are listed as tax dependents and are part of the household.  Re-worded:  Grown independent children with their own household who have USC status are not listed in the affidavit.

Maybe reword again.  Grown independent children are not listed as children.  However, if they were sponsored by the sponsor in question, living in the US, and are not yet US Citizens, they ARE LISTED as immigrants previously sponsored and DO count in the household size.

Correct.

I specified USC status as the OP asked about naturalized children

This does NOT apply to non-USC’s under an affidavit of support.  They must be listed grown or not.

Okay then, can we now say my wife is able to support me and i am not liable to become a public charge anymore as this is the only reason my visa was refused ???

If you counted them in a household size and they shouldn't have been are need not be now, then it means she can submit a new and correct affidavit of support, and get a new judgment call based on the updated affidavit and supporting documentation.  It should include both an explanation of why two people on the original affidavit are not on the new one, along with copies of the applicable Naturalization Certificates as supporting evidence to go with the explanation letter.
