I mean it depends where you move to! Are you moving out of state or out of your local office district then yes the case will me moved but if you are within the same district then it will stay.

We moved out of state. Weve already updated our change of address and we received mail confirmation about that however our new mail was still sent to our old address for some reason and i guess the interview will still be on that state

In theory, it should change the location.

No it takes them about 30 days to correct the address in there system.

If you got an interview date in the old state them call them.

We will call them today if the office is open . Dont know but the change of address update was made 3 months ago. It should be updated but still it went there. Good thing our old address was in my mother-in-law’s place so she sent us the mail here.

if we reschedule the intervew to change the interview location does that causes too much delay?

It might.  Depends on how busy the new office is

YMMV

It happens more then you think that people change their address and they do not update it in their system. It is always good to call 30 days after change of address to confirm that they actually did it.

Delaying or not will depend on the field office you move to and their wait times.

So the delay will depend but it doesnt mean the process is repeated?

No if you are in line for an interview now or have your interview date they will just put you in line for interview at the new field office.

You don't start all over again.

Hi guys this is the status of our case right now (see attahced imaged) and earlier today i just called to let them know that our interview was set from our old address and we moved to new address 3months ago. Found out our change of address request wasnt updated in their system. The agent earlier updated it and we also requested to reschedule the interview to our new location. While this is pending does our case status will also be changed to “interview reschedule” status? Do they do like that type of status update in the site?
