It's for CRBA and passport mainly and they require all originals.

Also if you haven't done it already, get the little one a Philippine passport  .. you will be glad you did when its time to fly.

Guys,

Will be sending some paperwork soon to my wife in the Philippines from the US. She lives in the province and doesn't have a house number or street name but receives mail fine most of the time. What would be a safe and reliable courier to use but not too expensive? Thanks!

If you live near a Seafood City, there may be a LBC branch there. I've sent documents through them for less than $10.

I second this as well. Because usually you can send documents for about $40-50 and it gets there quick

Yes I'm planning to do that in the same CRBA appointment. I don't need separate appointment for passport do I?

Wow cheap. Does it get there quickly and reliable?

You need the U.S.passport as that is required for USC entering the USA, and yes you submit the application for the U.S. passport during CRBA.

But you will want the Philippines passport when exiting the Philippines .. removes the ECC requirement.    No appt needed at DFA for children

Less than a week in my experience (documents to Metro Manila from the Bay Area, perhaps it would be a bit longer to the provinces).

FYI - LBC is like a Philippines version of Fedex. It's considered reliable; I've successfully sent and received many things through them (mostly in Philippines but also sending from the US). It has tracking via their website: https://www.lbcexpress.com/
