We are in the middle of AOS for my husband and applied for his travel application for advanced parole. We got a letter that says his case has been opened but also got a separate letter that returned our check saying there wasn't a fee? The USCIS website and our lawyer both says there needs to be an application fee so we are confused. Is this normal? Did we miss something?

No fee when filed in conjunction with an i485

Attorneys,  gotta love them.   They keep all your money and you need to go to a free message board to get the correct answer

Did you submit a copy of your I485 Noa1 receipt notice proving (because you did not file concurrently) that you've already filed I485? Your post isnt clear when you filed, how you filed.

If you did file concurrently did you write up separate coverletters for each application stating you are filing each form separately but concurrently?

I know, right?

And, btw, the only fees you pay (if you’re filling everything at a time) are the I-485 and biometrics, right?

No fee for I-131 neither I-765, correct?
