Another affadavit or the most recent on at K1 interview?

I just submitted an affadavit of support for my husband/beneficiary in May 2019. We have an interview in September 2019 for his AOS. One of the documents required is the affadavit of support. Do they want a whole new one? The letter's checklist says only "a completed Affadavit of Support with all required evidence." So vague.

 

The other checklist information is stuff we already have and which doesn't even potentially change with time.

I don't think you would need a new I-864 unless something has changed.......although I would take a copy of the one previously sent.

You presented the i134 for the k1, now it's the i864

I read it as the OP sent an I-864 with the AOS paperwork........now getting ready for interview........maybe I misread it.....

Well the timeline says AOS in February so an RFE in May maybe for the i864

yeah we had an RFE for an affadavit of support in May 2019. The instructions are so *vague* they didn't say to do a NEW affadavit of support, and so I turned in the previous one.  Then we got an RFE and I turned a newer one in. So it sounds like THIS TIME no new a. of support is needed, just bringing all of our paperwork. half-ton of it. Does that sound right? Ugh.

So no one wanted a new affadavit. Everything they asked for we had. The only catch was that we were on time and everyone else was late, clients, lawyers, interpreters, so we got in about 3 1/2 hours after our appointment time. Otherwise it went well.

We have an interview this coming Monday as well and are preparing for it.  We didn't have any RFE during any previous times, so just to be clear...we DO NOT need a new Affidavit of Support?

Did you submit one with the i485?  Has anything changed significantly?

Yes, and nothing significantly has changed.  Should I bring 2018 taxes as the latest return as we submitted our i485 prior to me submitted my taxes.

So aside from supplemental evidence of our continued union (bank account, bills, photos, events, ect).  What else should we bring?  Also any advice would be helpful.

I just went through the list and took a little of everything. I took the affadavit they already had, but they did not ask for it. I took about 20 photos. I took about 5 screenshots of the pages that show how often we email. I Snipped those on gmail. I tried not to go overboard with anything, as they already have a huge file. I went heavier on the photos, because we had some engagement, some wedding, some generally couples-selfies. We got approved in two days!

Husband took all his previous documents, both divorce papers, everything. HTH.

Yes, I took another copy of my 2018 tax return.
