How long does it take to hear from the local embassy after nvc sends them your case file.

Its almost 3 months i recieved email that my case was sent to us embassy ghana and i still have not heard from them.

It depends on the embassy really of how long it will take. I would recommend asking on the Africa region threads so that more people who have gone through the Ghana embassy can see it. Check out some timelines of people who have gone through Ghana embassy too to see how long they had until interview

I went to your profile and look at previous post. Would have helped if you had just said you were approved for an expedite. Every place is different and Ghana is not fast at all even with an expedite.

 

Have you emailed the embassy (yes I know they usually take forever to respond). You have case# you need to be contacting them get the lead out. Have you contacted your Senator and alerted them you have an approved expedite and no response. You got to be proactive and get on it.

I have emailed the embassy severally and they keep telli g to wait for instructions..i think i would have to try contacting a senator..

Yes i requested for expedition and it was approved and my case sent to the local embassy on the 10 of june 2019 but i haven't heard anything from them.i have called them severally and was told to wait..meanwhile my case is with no condition.i have paid and fill every form and submitted every document.
