Congratulations. Did you go with the petitioners original documents ? kindly list the documents.

Not I didn't.

I went with pictures

Tax return

Affidavit of support

Bio data page of passport

And some other documents that where not asked for but I went with them anyway.

Such as birth certificate

Marriage certificate .

Like I said. Not the original. They were all scanned and sent to me and I printed them out

Hello all,

I am in a dilemma at the moment.

Initially they told us to be watching the Visa Bulletin for when it will get to our turn( For Family Based i30 Visa)

Now we are told (and I checked online status as well) that the status is showing ISSUED.

This is where the confusion is. My son and his family still have their passports with them and they have not done any interviews also. I am lost here. Oct 2008 is the date.

I need to know if anyone is in thesame category can say how the whole process happened!

I am so lost.

To ask a maybe obvious question, are you sure you are checking using the right case number? Oct 2008 is at least a year away from being current for F3, so there is no way it can be issued. If the case number is correct, maybe contacting the consulate (CEAC is their responsibility to update) to clear up the confusion may help . sounds like just an error on their side?

Omgosh Susie you just solved this case!!!! The case number I used was my husbands case.. and truly visa was issued! My son has a different case number!!! After reading what you said.. I had to go back into my email and type in the number. Thank you so much!!!!

Not really. I went with printed out documents. I guess they can't be classified as original.
