Approved expedite

Good day all, my case was approved at NVC stage to be expedited by the U.S. embassy. All fees were collected at the NVC stage then the case was sent to the embassy, however on my CEAC account, documents are still showing "submitted" and my interview date is already schedule... Can anyone tell me what I can do, will it change?

The nvc don't have anything to do with the case now. So any documents that need reviewing will be reviewed by the us embassy. One of my documents still say submitted, my medical was yesterday and my interview is on the 12th. Don't worry.

My medical was yesterday as well, and the case is at the embassy for interview on 19th so I was worried that the docs say submitted and not accepted and maybe I may get an AP.

All cases go through AP before being issued, some take longer then others. The embassy are reviewing the documents, in not sure if they actually update the website when they have reviewed them. But I was told to go ahead and book my interview and medical, so we're on the right track. My case was expedited at the NVC stage too. And if you log in, the summary should say that the embassy is reviewing your case and to upload any documents you need too. And if you have any you need to make any changes to contact the embassy. We will get our happy ending, I know it's stressful. But our time is coming. Just keep positive

How did your interviews go and could you tell me a little about how you got your cases expedited please

My interview went well and my reason for expedite was due to medical issues.

I’m really happy for you congratulations! How long had you waited at nvc until you finally processed and expedite request and how long after being accepted did you have your interview? Also were the medical issues on the petitioners or the beneficiaries end

My interview was on the 12th July in London. My case was expedited due to medical reasons in my pregnancy.  It was very straight forward, they made me feel relaxed, I was nervous at first but I think that's normal. But there's really nothing to be nervous about. The staff were So nice. I was asked questions about my relationship and it just felt like a conversation. You wait about longer then you are actually interviewed. I ended up with a green 212g slip for a joint sponsor. Which I was gutted about and the consular officer even apologised and said that it's the only thing holding up our visa. He kept my passport and My case changed to administrative processing. I submitted my hubbys grandads documents on the 16th July and on the 17th my visa was issued and in my hand on the 19th July. I'm now leaving the uk tomorrow to be back with my husband.

Once the case is complete it may take several weeks to months to schedule the interview and send to the consulate.
