On May 20th we received a NOID.

Letter said  we did not submit a Divorce Cert from the Civil Status Office from  Egypt, and USCIS concludes I'm still married to my ex in Egypt.  I originally sent a Cert Copy of the IRREVOCABLE DIVORCE when we filed.

INFO:    The Divorce Cert from the Civil Status Office is showing divorce was registered with them.

I have sent  the  original certificate they mentioned in the NOID letter, and  with a copy of the Egyptian Marriage Cert in color with a English translator by a certified translator as requested, along with a letter explaining, this document from the Civil Status Office was not mentioned or asked for at the Feb 2018 interview on the I-485 petition  or the May 7th 2019 interview (Stokes)  on the I-130 petition.

The Stokes interview consisted of very few questions, so easy.  Mainly who feeds & walks our dogs,  what brand cigarettes do I smoke, we talked about us wanting to adopt a child, etc.  My  husband even made her light a few times.

We answered the same , except messed up on one, of languages spoken......   No biggie as he is just learning Spanish and my French is awful.

We sent ALL they mentioned in the letter within the 30 days we were given.    Its been 24 days now since they sent message of correspondences received by USCIS.

Since we sent all that was mentioned in the NOID letter,   would USCIS deny our petitions for another reason not stated in NOID letter? , even though we addressed and sent all mentioned in the letter.

As you can see from my signature of our filing time line to the present.     How long does USCIS take to reply to NOID evidence?   I've researched this, and cant fine one similar to our case.

When we had the Stokes, the officer took our new joint lease, copy of my last pay stub, and looked at 3 albums.

I had further evidence, she said no they had more them enough, which yes they did.

It doesn't matter how much proof of bonafide marriage you give them or how much proof they already have if they believe you're still married to your first husband.

If that's what they believe then that means you're not actually married to the guy who is now trying to adjust his status through you, which makes him not eligible for a greencard in the first place.

I didn't say all the evidence provided doesn't mean we don't qualify.   That was not the question.

I just asked that since we gave them what they requested, would they come up with another reason to possible deny?
