Hi Guys,

My fiances K1 interview is scheduled on August 11th in Jordan which marks the first day of Eid Al-Adha, I am not sure if this day was opened for bookings anyways or if they opened this day by mistake? I researched others here who found out their embassies were closed. I have emailed the Embassy numerous times, called and no answer, tried US Travel Docs and they dont know and basically said if they will close they will call my fiance. Well that is not convenient since I plan on flying out there to be with him at the interview.  Has anyone had a similar experience of have their interview in a MENA country also scheduled on Aug11th? I tried to reschedule to be on the safe side but there is nothing.

Thanks

When were you able to schedule an interview? I have been waiting since May for the schedule to open so I can schedule

Hi Tina,

After trying to check daily with constant login problems for weeks, I called US Travel Docs and asked them to have the Embassy schedule my interview. They escalated my request for an interview with the Embassy. I received an email several days later asking that I open the calendar for my interview date. Once I opened it I found that day and time open for me to click and reserve which I did. I think by asking the Embassy to schedule it for you will do the trick.

Any news about interviews appointments for CR1 Visa

It seems K1 and CR1's are still waiting. I think bombarding them with emails will get them to comply and open up the calendar. I had emailed AND called everyday for 2 weeks straight.
