That’s great! Who processed the clearance? Did you ask someone from HK? Or you did it all by yourself?

hi! may i know the timeline of anyone from Canada who obtained a police clearance from Hongkong through mail. how did you send it and how long is the process? TIA!

Details on how you processed your HK PC from Canada would help others. Your questions seems to be one that I would imagine would be searched and likely used to secure their personal HK PC. Thanks and I am glad that worked out for you.

i did a DIY processing for my HK clearance myself (no agents nor hk friends). i followed the instructions from http://www.police.gov.hk/ppp_en/11_useful_info/cert_no_crime.html#oversea

i got a bank draft from CIBC which i have an active account. better go with your current bank to avoid the hassle of opening an account before they issue a bank draft.

got the finger printing through  Red Seal Notary in Mississauga. its a private office coz the police stations doesn't do finger printing anymore. no need for an appointment. just walk-in. $50.85 cheapest and fast and not as busy.

i sent all requirements through Canada Post ordinary mail with tracking/signature upon arrival. Canada post May 15 and left Canada may 17. hk receipt was dated may 28. police clearance left hk by june 6 to Montreal. ordinary mail cost $24 while Xpress/DHL cost $70++. the canada post tracking is very inaccurate hence i have to make this post. luckily it worked well. you can email HK anytime if you have queries and they'll reply but take a few days. you will never hear from them coz the Hk receipt arrived by mail here in Canada.

I hope mine is there too! Been waiting there since March if it is there. Praying for November interview. Thank you very much!

Good luck! We were worried ours wouldn't make it but it did.
