Hello,

We received our NOA2 dated 11th May, however on the USCIS case status page, the status is still showing as case was received... Will this status change once NVC receive the petition?

How does the NVC contact us? How long should we wait?

How long does the NVC process take?

Thanks

Nitesh

Uscis is done.   No more updates

Google "asknvc" and update/verify your email address with them.  Once they assign the case number they will email you with it.

We were at nvc for 37 days

YMMV

Yes,  as I do not know the exact date uscis sent it, nor did I really care.

YMMV

It took us 5,5 weeks until we received the casenumber from the NVC. They will send you an e-mail.

How long the process at the NVC takes, depends mostly on how accurate you are when submitting your documents. After submitting the documents, it will take the NVC up to 3 weeks to review them. If they reject a document(wrong way up, wrong form etc.), they will let you know and you have to resubmit the document correctly. And here's the catch: it might take the NVC up to 3 weeks again to review it..

In my situation, the NVC reviewed our documents 5 days after we submitted them (yay!) BUT rejected my passport Bio page because the picture was the wrong way up.. After we resubmitted the picture, it took the NVC 3 weeks to review and accept it..

So make sure that you check, check and double check and your NVC stage could be pretty quick.

Good luck!

Huh?  Please don't mix IR visas with someone who is doing K1.  No submission of documents of any kind to nvc for a k1

YMMV
