Hi everyone! 👋

I submitted online on June 2, 2019,

5 year rule

Fort Smith, AR field office

I received my permanent residence via the fiancé visa, and was eligible at 3 years, but needed a little break from the paperwork before filing for my citizenship. 😊 I am still married so I’m not too worried if relationship questions come up 👍.

N400 Applied online on June 1 2019

Hi!  Wondering,  do you submit documents, for example, taxes when you file online?  Do you scan them?  Or did you have to mail them in? Thinking about filing this month.

Yes, you scan them, and upload them one by one while filing online. You will be instructed to upload each document needed when you fill info about it. I believe each scanned document can be up to 6 MB is size. I uploaded PDF and JPG format documents without a difficulty.

For Tax return, I download them from IRS website and I scan other documents.

Good news!

I have already received my biometrics appt notice. The documents section hasn’t been updated yet so I don’t know the date, but I will update here as soon as I get it. 🎉 Maybe this process won’t be so long after all. 🤞🏼
