My husband's NOA1s are dated two days after the AOS package arrived in Chicago. I think you'll definitely be able to have NOA1 by June 11 if you send off tomorrow. Good luck!

Hey guys,

You don't have to send it in, but it's a good piece of support documentation for the I-864. The one we sent in was like the one requested in the K1 packet. It is printed on the company letterhead, it states the nature of employment, whether it is temporary or permanent, whether it is full time or part time, the salary, opportunity for advancement (if you want to add that in, it helps your case if the sponsor's salary will continue to go up), and it's signed by the HR rep or the sponsor's boss.

Hope this helps!

We sent a copy of the same letter (with the AOS paperwork) that my employer gave me for my husband's K1 interview.

Don't worry too much about being out of status between when your K1 visa expires and you receive your green card. That happens to all of our non-USC spouses. You'll have the NOA letter as proof that your case is pending.

11/2004 - Met in Brazil

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD
