Hello family, I need your advice here. I visited my family in Turkey last March and I lost my Green Card over there(this’s what I was thinking). And I went to US embassy in Turkey for a boarding foil. I’m back in US right now and after I entered US with the boarding foil, my gc was in my car(stupid). It’s a conditional gc and I’m gonna be applying for removal conditions 6 months later. My question; do I need to sent I-90 and replace the card? or Is it okay for me to remove conditions without replacing it? I think even if I sent the I-90 it’s gonna take about 5-6 months anyway and being honest I was gonna just wait. I need your advice please.

Thank you.

I see no reason to replace it........it is not a credit card or bank card.

You found it?

What is there to replace then?

When I was entering to US, I told the officer I lost my gc.  When I was in US embassy in Turkey also I told them I lost it that’s why I needed boarding foil. Then I found it in my car in Chicago. I’m kind of curious that they might deactivate the card(not my status). I think I need the card when I’m applying for removal conditions and when the time comes for that, I don’t want to have bad experience. Because on the back of the card has a lot of numbers and symbols like our passports. Maybe I’m  too much thinking on it. :)
