I-134 Low annual income

5 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

I am self-employed, I am setup as a sole-proprietorship. My reported income based on my 2018 tax return is a little over $8,000. This is because I reinvest a large portion of my income into my business.

I have close to $40,000 in savings right now. I have personal property value of about $15,000.

My business (website) is worth $86,000. But I'm not sure which category that falls under. Personal property?

My question:

Is the annual income of $8,000 from my tax return last year going to raise any red flags? Or will my 1040 from last year be sufficient in proving that a large portion of my revenue goes back to building the business, in addition to my savings?

Thank you!

Well you will not qualify on that little.

Personal property, well that depends what it is, a second vehicle?

Business web site, valuation? Wonder how you came up with the number.

Well, even if your business site were worth that number, something to be assessed is could you actually sell it off easily? And would you? Always can just go with a co-sponsor in case.
