Is the I-134 enough on it's own for K1 interview

Hello, so I'm a 21 year old college student with an income less than the required minimum with a Brazilian Fiance. My father agreed to help and his income is above the minimum required. The problem is that he is not comfortable with the liability of the I-864. So, would the I-134 be enough to fulfill the financial requirement for the interview phase of the k1 visa process. I'll graduate in July and will make enough by the time the adjustment if status comes into play. Thanks for reading :)

The I-134 sponsor does not have to be the I-864 sponsor......

I134 is what is used for the k1 visa.   I864 comes later

I-134 is 100% poverty guideline and I-864 is 125%. Just meeting the minimum does not always satisfy the CO at the interview either.

Gotcha, thank you. I know that the I-134 is for non immigrant visas and I-864 for immigrant based visas so they are mutually exclusive. My question is that, with the U.S. embassy in Brazil, is the I-134 if sufficient enough to fulfill the financial requirement to the point where my fiance and enter the country as a non-immigrant?

I134 with supporting evidence is what they will want

My father makes comfortably above what's necessary, but I've heard that the I-134 isnt legally binding so would that be enough by itself?

1.  The I-864 is irrelevant to the interview process.

2.  It is entire at the discretion of the CO.

Again,  the i134 with the proper support evidence is the affidavit to present at the interview

Yes, that's the only one you need to present along with supporting evidence. Make sure to fill one out for each of you, even if your income is zero.
