Just got our approval notices in the mail today.

No update on either website on the cards being shipped. They still say Card is Being Produced.

I guess they will get here when they get here, but I'll keep you posted.  The current status changed on Friday, June 21st and that's where it's at for now.

Thank you, that's helpful. I don't worry about travel nor need my card. I thought it might get the ball rolling but I guess I might have to review the thread first.

If you can wait for your 10-year GC, then by all means do so. Highly suggest not to file N-400 until i-751 is approve. Good luck and all the best.

Card arrived today and it looks so different than the 2 year green card!

Thats the new GC design released last May 2017. Congrats

Just got my FIRST text from USCIS to say action was taken on our case. I logged in and it said Case Was Approved (old site). We got our approval notice in the mail yesterday.

On the new site it has changed to Card was Mailed.

Hoping to get it by the weekend so we can make photocopies and hit submit on our N400!

It’s been 2 weeks as of Today that they’ve received my RFE answer and nothing has happened yet.

This process is absolutely frustrating and discouraging, I’ve lost two job offers due to having an expired GreenCard (they wouldn’t except the Extension letter because they don’t know anything about it). About to go into a third interview for another job, but I’m already afraid it’s going to turn out the same way as the first two offers in the end.

If I wasn’t so madly in love with my husband and I’d probably just go back to Germany, but I know he would have a much harder time adjusting over there than I have had here.

Not sure what to do except waiting but I just needed to let it out here. Happy though for everybody who’s gotten approved so far.

This is so annoying!  I can't imagine your frustration.  Your employer or prospective employer really should read the text in the first paragraph of the letter.  Your status is still legal. I know you know that, but some people have never dealt with these things (lucky them!) and need to have it explained.  I would definitely point out the paragraph and perhaps take in a copy of the USCIS (751 estimated processing times and attach it so that you can explain why extension letters are issued as standard now.

I agree, you should not have to do this, but it's also totally unfair that you should miss out on your job offers.  Hoping your approval is coming soon! Our just got approved on Friday - we are March filers.  It really sucks that it takes this long for people who already jumped through rings of fire to get to this stage.

To all of us who gallantly strive to keep the hope  because of love, shout out to all of you here.

After 13 months, I finally got the physical copy of my card. From June 2018 I was so silent following this chat group, but I know everyone has struggled.

For y’all that have been waiting, it will come and don’t be despair. We are here always. 😁
