If you're lucky they'll send it back, but normally they'll just throw it out.

Was all of your proof on that DVD or was it just a video of moments and such?

Thank you for your response.  No I sent all paper documents, pictures and everything.  The dvd was just of the wedding, which I had pictures of in the packet.  It really wasn't needed.  I just wanted to have as much proof as I could.

And that's good. Again if you're lucky and you get a rep who cares they may send the DVD back, it's happened before, but I wouldn't expect it.

Agreed, most likely they'll either toss it out. Won't affect the petition at all they just wont bother looking at it. I'm sure you are not the only one who's ever send in a CD/DVD or other media so.

08/15/2014 : Met Online

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

They will most likely just discard it.  I have never heard of the inclusion of such an item adversely affecting a petition.  Best wishes for your case!

6.5-8.5month  for now at Texas .But the whole process can take you 12-14 month if all other things being equal . wish you the best.
