i am handling the form I-751 myself and when I was looking at my marriage certificate my marriage date is different from the registered date that’s listed on the certificate? I got married on July 31, 2016 but on my marriage certificate it states that I registered on August 10, 2016? What should I put as my date of marriage on the I-751 form?

It depends on when your marriage was considered legal in the country it took place.......In some countries, the marriage is considered as legal on the date it was performed......in other countries (Taiwan is one), the marriage date is officially the day the marriage is registered at the local Household Registration office.

My wife and performed our marriage "ceremony" by signing a marriage agreement on Jul 26th.......but registered it on July 30th.  Our official date of marriage is Jul 30th......as we were married in Taiwan.

It should be the later (August 10, 2016), it is the date they put the information into their official system ("marriage registration book"). It is not the date the couple sign the paperwork.

I have seen a number of different marriage certificate formats and all of them only shows 1 date and some of them having the note likes below
