On Sunday, my fiancee and I arrived into the USA (PoE was IAD).  I had been searching for her I-94 for a few days on the CBP website.  She has a two name last name ("dos SMITH" as an example). I finally found her I-94 today by dropping the "dos" on her surname.  On the I-94, it has her last name as just SMITH, not "dos Smith".  On her K1 Visa, it has her surname as "Dos Smith".

Will there be any problems resulting from this?

I don't think so, as long as the other information on the I-94 matches up to her. I have a similar issue in that only the first part of my two-part first name shows up on my I-94. ("Mary Smith" instead of "Mary Ann Smith"). Make sure she uses her full name when applying for SSN though.

It should match her passport and visa or SSA won’t be able to find her. Go back to IAD or find a deferred inspection facility on cbp.gov and have them fix it in the system.

Little hard for me to go to a Deferred inspection facility when most are 6-9 hours drive time from me.  Doubt the Government is going to reimburse me vacation time + gas time for their screwup.

Has anyone had luck having it resolved via the email address at some of the deferred locations?  Charlotte would be my closest and they list an email address.

We haven't went to SSA yet (planned to do it next Thursday).

So a follow up for anyone else who runs into a similiar issue, I emailed Charlotte's CBP using their I94 request email.  All I had to do was send a photo of my fiancee's K1 Visa, Biographical information page, and the stamp.  The agent updated it, and now it is reflecting correctly in the system.
