Active Military Fiance with Latent Tuberculosis

Hi. My Fiance and I have been engaged  for quite a while and we felt that it's already time to tie the knot. When I went to St.Luke's for the medical exams, I was diagnosed with Latent Tuberculosis or TB class 2. I have a dextroscoliosis reason for them to suspect that I have a water or thickening of the walls of my lungs. They made me do an ultrasound, sputum and skin test. Ultrasound and sputum came back negative but the skin test was positive. The blister on my arm was read as 16mm. The doctor gave me meds for 4 months but he is already leaving for another deployment in 2 months. Both of us were so devastated. Did anybody experienced their fiance having a latent tuberculosis and got an approval to get married?

It is irresponsible for you to worry about the timing of his deployment when you have a condition considered to be a communicable disease. Take your meds and take time to live a healthy lifestyle so when you are able to travel, you can enjoy your new life.

I have seen plenty of people get approval, obviously once the medical issue is addressed.
