I got a divorce from my husband recently after 2 years of him being here, I wanted to know who do I inform about this divorce? Do I write a letter to USCIS? And what documents do I have to provide them? Do I have to give them the old case number?

If you already have a 10 year green card, then nobody.

If you have a 2 year green card, then you will file for ROC (I-751) with a divorce waiver.

 

Edit: This assumes you are the immigrant. If he is the immigrant, then there's nothing you do with immigration either way.

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

nope, you don't need to do anything, nor notify immigration, if he needs to remove conditions, he can file on his own as divorced. if the has the 10 year GC then he can get citizenship at 5 years of being a LPR

 

you move on with your life
