Again, I'm entitled to ask any questions I wish. If you are going to be negative or judgemental - dont!

Sometimes you just have to deal with the background noise here. Somehow you get used to it) Good Luck!

Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.

Hey, I'm from NI too!! Yes, my hubby sat and waited in the waiting room. He didn't come in with me though. So no problems!

You can take a photobook but more than likely won't be needed for London either.

Good luck :D

Assume your husband is a USC? That’s why he was allowed in. Non-USCs cannot accompany applicants.

I doubt there would be room for them in the waiting room at the medical. I had mine there in November 2016 and I doubt they have made any changes to the building since then and the waiting room was full. There was a family of 5, various individuals, another family of 3. They don’t just do medicals for US visas, there were people having medicals for other visas when I was there.

Can someone attend the medical and interview with you? My parents are travelling me with to London (from NI).

Also can i take a photobook of the photos of me and my fiance to my interview ?

If there is not enough room in the waiting room at the medical, they may say something, but give it a go. They can always wait nearby at the pub.

Use this form and ask. https://uk.usembassy.gov/iv_contact_form/

Choose

  • I would like to add the name of my U.S. citizen spouse/child to my IV appointment.

But in the details explain traveling from NI and it's your parents who will be with you. Then you have an answer from the horse's mouth.  London does allow petitioners in for sure, but they are pretty nice and may allow your parents. Give their names and they will be on the list at check-in if approved. There's a Waitrose nearby too.

No photos or albums needed.
