Can I Travel to Other Countries?

Would anyone know if it is possible for me to travel to Hong Kong? The plan is to go to HK for a quick trip, then return to the Philippines before we leave for the US.

 

My visa has been issued.

Yes, you can. You are not required to immediately travel to the US after visa issuing, all that's required is that you enter the US before the expiration date. Similarly, once you enter the US and activate your permanent residency, you can still travel and visit anywhere you like out of the country.

There is no issue with you travelling to other countries before you go to the USA. This is actually pretty common for Filipino K1 visa holders since it is a lot easier to travel to other ASEAN countries before going to the USA. Have fun

Having a Visa in your passport does not restrict your life or travel plans.  Having the Visa simply means you have permission to present yourself to the port of entry prior to its expiration
