Hi guys,

I was super excited to have my interview next week on 04/02 but I'm concerning about my I-130 still pending
I'm an F2A case and my pd is 05/22/17, CSC.
I filed my AoS 06/22/18. Case was handled by Mt. Laurel NJ field office.
While I've seen so many people from my country got approved and their PD already passed May (June something already) while my case is still showing nothing on the website (case is received)
I have my husband called USCIS and they said it might depend on the interviewer decision, but idk what would be other scenarios that I should expect? My EAD will be expired 08/22 so I will need to file for my new EAD soon if I wanna get my card on time and everything prepared.

Any experience?
Thanks!

If the Mt. Laurel NJ office also has the complete I-130 petition then can approve both the I-130 and I-485 on Tuesday. If they don't have it, then they will request it to be transferred to them before approving the I-485. Once they receive the I-130 after Tuesday they can approve both the I-130 and I-485. In both scenarios, it's likely that an additional interview won't be required.

Thank you so much! My I-130 is handled by Cali center so I really hope it will be approved on Tuesday!

i’ve heard horror stories that people were told to wait for decision and it takes months.. Hopefully I will be the lucky one ;)

Hey I just wanna give  some updates about my interview yesterday.

So basically everything went well but the IO said my PD wasn't current, so he would have to call and tell CSC to mail my i-130 to this office instead. He said the 485 is approved, but idk about the I-130. He said it would take maybe 1 week, or 1 month... Anyone on the same board? :(

Congras but they cannot issue you a GC until your PD is current anyway. So still few months before you can get your GC even if it takes 1 week or a month for i130 transfer.

Thanks for the head up! I thought I would avoid that but it wasn't my case then :( I will wait for it patiently lol
