K1 visa one way ticket

Hello everyone 

i know it’s a common topic , but if any one can share their lates experience traveling on  k1 visa with one way ticket .

i am traveling from Dubai to Orlando this March last week

please share your boarding experience with one way ticket

Sorry but I do not have any recent experience I can share.  However I have some free advice.  The airline (in my opinion) is always the wild card.  Not all airline check in ticket agents are well schooled with the different types of visas.  You might end up with a ticket agent that says you need a round trip ticket as they do not understand the one way/one use K1 visa.  I would suggest you contact the airline you plan to use and make sure they understand the K1 visa.  Also get a person's name and phone number with the airline that can be contacted if you have any issues at check in.  You do not want to miss that very important flight!

we both flew one way on qatar from Morocco

took east to Dubai and then back west to Doha and onto Chicago

and the airline is greeat

now it is not flying in a lot of eastern countries (2017)

but it was a great airline to fly

traveling one way is no problem 

check for transit visas if you need to change planes or airports at any of your layovers
