Hi, I read on the k1guide that I should make a copy of the money order in addition to the I-129F. Is this required? And on the USCIS website, it says to put the e-notification on the front of the application. On the k1guide, it says to put it on the front of the application on top of the cover letter. The k1guide also states to put the money order first. Does the e-notification go on top of the money order or between the money order and cover letter? Thanks.

When in doubt you follow the guidelines from the provider itself, therefore USCIS trumps everything else

YMMV

If the USCIS website said to put it on the very top, I will do that. As far as the copy of the money order, I didn't see anything about making a copy of it. So I guess no copy of it.

The copy is for your records, not for there's

YMMV

Copy of money order is for you.  Always prudent to keep a copy of payments submitted, not exclusive to USCIS.

In my experience, I put the e-notification form on the very top of the package and clip the money order to the top of the covering letter.

FYI - the guides are out of date regarding payment. They don't mention that credit cards are an option now for paying fees for any form sent to a USCIS lockbox (including the I-129F), and have been since 2017. In my opinion, this is probably the best option providing in most cases.
