Good afternoon

My interview was scheduled for 03/01/2019 but when I checked the website this morning I saw that it was "descheduled"

I am afraid it could take 30 to 999 days to have the USCIS reschedule another one !

Does anyone had their interview rescheduled lately?

Do you know why would they cancel it?

Thank you for your inputs

Hello

I have my I-751 pending but I was told by the USCIS on the phone that I will have a combo interview so I am not sure why they rescheduled me.

So frustrated I was really happy to go there Friday ... On the letter they don't even tell you when a new interview will be scheduled. I am really afraid it will be in 6 months and I will have to waste time getting another I-551 grrr...

Thank you

Let us know

So the tier 2 officer told that the interview has been cancelled but I am "on the list" to get a new one within the next few weeks.

Crossing fingers. :)

Did you ask why they re-schedule it ?

Wishing you the best!

The agent did not say, he just read back to me the notice that's it.... He said not to be worried it happens time to time.

At this point waiting an extra month or two won't change munch !

Thank you

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

unfortunately he couldn't approve my N400 because when I applied in 2016, I was applying under the 3 year rule when I was married. Now I'm not eligible under the 3 year rule but I am eligible under the 5 year rule, but he didn't want to amend my application and do it 5 year rule instead of the 3 year rule. He told me to apply again instead. I was so annoyed because I will have to pay the application again and wait another year. But it is what it is.

Wow. Sorry to ask, but are you sure there's no other serious issue with your application -- related to previous crime/affiliation with terrorism?

If not, this is crazy. Don't apply again, spending hundreds of dollars and another year at least. Ask your local Congressman/Senator and the USCIS ombudsman to intervene first.

There was no other problems with my application specially the N400. The whole thing started with the 751. They had it pending for 4 years and this is when all starte, but finally the 751 was approved. He said as for the old N400 I was not eligible as I applied back in 2016, so hopefully it's just about another year and another application fee, and there's nothing else hidden that I don't know about.
