Had interview February 18,2019 in Cairo

They didn’t say approved though. I checked case tracker and it says ap. Today, my lawyer submitted everything on the website. How long until the consulate reviews my documents and issue my visa? Also does the embassy check the documents as soon as I submit them? Thank you so much

I would contact NVC it shouldn't be this backed up but I do know the last month they had been working on the cases that were sitting in AP so it might have been an off month.

I’m on the line with NVC right now waiting until they answer me what do tell them ?? I already know they’re gonna tell ’m big line and they aren’t gonna tell when they will give me interview appointment

ask them what the wait is, ask them about expediting your case

They told me it really depends on the embassy if comes to year and they haven’t gave me appointment I could expedited it but the person I was talking too the most cases she see that been completed take up  6 months or to 8 months or 9 months 😤😤

I know of one other case like yours that took time, and she called and talked to a supervisor and had it escalated I would recommend trying that.

National visa center are ####### they won’t let you talk a  supervisor 😤😤 my case was CR1 I just checked the status on ceac it been changed too IR1is that normal ??

just means you have been married for over 2 years and when you get your visa to come in your green card will arrive with a 10 year card not a 2 year conditional card.

sometimes a call to them to make them aware you have been forgotten will prompt you to be put to the top of the list coming up in a few weeks.

hi all. after waiting for 50 days after an approved visa interview, the visa was issued. there is light at the end of the tunnel!!!
