Please share your experience for those who received a 22ig form. I would like to know more about it, because I received one after my interview because I was not able to get a Cenomar. Is it normal for them to ask bring back your passport with the 22ig form? Am kinda concerned. Tyia for those who will share their experiences

I received 221g because birth certificate from my birth country was missing. Was told to send it by DHL, postal service or bring it in person(would have to make an appointment though) together with my passport. I traveled to the birth country the next day and sent it to embassy this Wednesday. It hasnt been delivered yet. This is how it worked for me here.

It is a white form and consul will choose which requirement you will need to submit. Anyway, I hope we will be approved to soon eventhough we received that form. Thanks and good luck

I know what the 221g looks like as my fiancee received one from Manila as well.  Did they give you your passport back?  You submit the missing documents via 2go to the embassy

YMMV

Rina, just read the 221(g) carefully and follow the steps that they require. If I am not mistaken you need a CENOMAR but the letter will tell you to either PSA will send it to USEM or you will send it yourself. If you send it yourself, there will be no charge and you must follow the instructions as 2go will be the return carrier. The return instructions are in the 221(g). If you have any questions just ask.

It says submit cenomar with passport

Then that means the only thing in the way if approval is the CENOMAR

First, can you create a timeline and keep it updated.  It will be very helpful.  Next, is there any specific reason why you are unable to get a CENOMAR?

@Jay Jones the consul asked for the Cenomar, sent it yesterday and as I tracked it from the courier service they already received it. How long will it take you think before I can see any developments?

That's a good question.  I don't think anyone can give you an exact answer.  It might take a few days or a few weeks.  If that's all they needed I don't foresee it taking more than a week to 10 working days.
