I'm so glad to finally see some positive posts in this thread. Congrats on your I129F's being transferred :)

I've been watching the March filer's thread and as I hadn't seen any movement in that, I was not expecting any in here. Come on USCIS! Start approving the March guys and girls so that we can have some idea of when we might start seeing approvals here!

Hi

I hope you are right ! I still waiting for a RFE letter (I-130), we got a email on 15th July saying it has been posted but nothing is in our mail box yet.. tks brazilian post office.

Reminder :

We live together since December last year.

We goT married on March this year.

We got his residency here on April so he is perfectly legal following the laws.

He works for a American Company

All of papers we already sent are clear showing we have a normal life together also the forms shows we have the same adress here in Brasil.

Hi G&A,

At this time I cant remember the actual (snail) paper mail NOA trail for transfer but when I go home tonight I will check my file...

But as far as CRIS USCIS online status is concerned... I remember getting TWO update emails.. on the lines of:

1) Current Status: This case has been sent to another office for processing. <-- This was updated online on 06/25/07

2) Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred. <-- This was updated online on 07/10/07

Hope this helps... but in all I would say you are looking pretty okay as far as your case transfer is concerned... I mean, as for my case, what you read above in #2 about my case being pending @ CSC.. Its still the same status today when I go and log into my USCIS portfolio, which has been the case since 07/10/07...

TC and good luck..

Hello G&A,

I have good news to report tonight. When I got home tonight from taking my son to the zoo, I found that the passport photos that my husband had mailed to me on June 28 have finally arrived today. I want to send out my K-3 application tomorrow, but I have a quick question. I had a suggestion given to me that I should skip sending my application to the Chicago lockbox and just send it to CSC where my I-130 is pending. Would that be okay to do?

Thanks,

Deb

P.S. Also, do I send the original $170 fee since we filed I-130 in May or is it now free? Don't know which way to go for that. Thanks, your help is much appreciated.
