March Interview Dates

Hey everyone,

So I have my medical booked for tomorrow, we've been checking for a few weeks now and there's still no availability for March interview appointments showing up on the website.  (https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv) 

 

Is anyone able to see available March appointments?

We had case complete on 1/22/2019.  Still no interview appointment.  I called NVC today.  She said appointments are being made.  Tried to see if we were on the list.  But all I got was "  when your appointment is booked we will send you a e-mail."  So much for being helpful.

Yeah it's strange. UK K1s are able to book their appointments they're not allocated, but nothing showing beyond February yet

We are CR1.  The waiting is for the birds.  Good luck.  I am sure things will open up soon for all of us.

I was surprised by this too. Does it typically take this long to open up appointment for the following month?

I'm not too sure. I paid the interview fee on the 14th January and could see all of February then, so hopefully next week we'll be able to see March availability. 

 

Nice to see another Michigan person too 🙂

Appears to only be 3 days left to book appointments in February, which I'm hoping won't cause any issues if we just wait it out a little more for the March appointments to appear. I'm getting nervous now!

I spoke to NVC late last night.  She said they are still booking appointments for March.  Are you able to get into the site to even look to see?

For the K-1 I'm able to get in to the site and check yes. But I don't believe it is still the same for IR-1/CR-1 appointments as yours are issued 😞

I know they are different.  Right now I would like to see anyone get a March interview!  No one seems to be updating their time line.  I have to take that as they haven't been notified.  In your case, I wonder if they set IR-1/CR-1 first and then let K-1 fill in the open dates.  It seems to be a well kept secret at NVC.

That would make sense, although initially when I paid for it back in January I could see majority of February, like 90% of days had availability. 

 

I'm wondering if they've had an issue or what not, I'll give them until Thursday lunch and then call see if they have an estimated date or something for it and ofcourse post my findings here.

Just jumping in here, I wonder if their reason to not release March dates yet was because of the pending Government shutdown.. it was announced last night that they have come to an agreement & wont be a shutdown which was going to be in effect on the 15th Feb. 

 

Hopefully you will be able to book March soon!

I was wondering that myself. I am glad to hear there's no shutdown coming again so fingers crossed we will see March turn green soon enough!

March appointments are all open!! We have ours scheduled for March 5th.
