751 extension letter

Timeline

Hi everyone, do you all received extension letter for 18 months? I only get the 12 months one.

Thank you, and wish you guys get GC ASAP~~~

 

 

This is my timeline:

04/09/2018  USCIS received my case 

04/20/2018  received 12 months extension

05/05/2018 received letter, t fingerprint waive

no more update after this

It would help if you filed out your VJ timeline- but it appears based on the dates you wrote the earliest your GC would expire would be in April - it’s probable you won’t get the 18 month extension letter until early April.

Packet 3 Sent : 11/10/13.. Had to schedule interview appointment and attach confirmation receipt to packet

Interview Date : 12/1/14                           Interview Result : Approved !

Visa Received : 12/10/14 picked up at Jacmel location

US Entry : 12/15/14 Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Apply for Social Security Card: 12/30/14 Connecticut

Marriage: 1/26/15

 

Adjustment of Status

CIS Office : Hartford                                  Filed : 3/18/15

NOA : 3/25/15                                            Biometrics : 4/15/15

Approved: 8/31/15                                     Received: 9/8/15

 

EAD

CIS Office : Hartford                                  Filed : 3/18/15

NOA : 3/25/15                                            Approved: 6/12/15

Received: 6/20/15

 

Removal of Conditions I-751

Filed: 8/14/17 at VSC                                 NOA: 8/15/17 Received 8/21 by mail

Biometrics: Dated: 8/25/17   Received 9/2/17   Appointment 9/11/17 

Approved: 10/23/18 -no interview

Timeline

The change to an 18-month extension letter was made in June 2018.  Since you filed before that, you were still in the 12-month group.

 

Closer to the expiration of your extension, you will need to call USCIS for an infopass appointment to receive a passport stamp.

thanks your information. but I saw most of case in April 2018 got both extension, 12 months and 18 months. so wondering anyone like my case only got 12 month.

You can set up an infopass appt. but it’s highly unlikely they will give you a stamp since your card stil has months of validity.
