My understanding is that the USCIS had some recent guidance on ROC approvals. I am sensing that the process itself might be the longest in wait for approval in comparison to AOS and K1 processes... Does anyone else have any other sentiments about the current state of events in USCIS?

Salut hi !!!

The process of removal of conditions definitely takes more time than a simple AOS, after exploring a little bit I can tell that people get their status approved from 12 months to 24 months ....

I really believe that it also depends on which center the packets are sent to. Having a packet complete and well organized will make the process easier for the immigration working on the case.

If you look at the number of cases received and the number process per quarter on USCIS website, you'll see that they're processing fewer ROC's than they receive for the last year and a half or so.  The backlog has been growing.  I would say 1 year on the fast side and 2 years on the slow side.  Thankfully, you're already here in the US, together with your spouse and with the extension letter, you shouldn't have any other problems.

Hu KestutisGr,

Welcome to this thread, 2 threads exist for Feb 2019 fillers.

My ROC window opened last week, my GC expires on 05/15 I have most of the documents printed and ready to go but I am just waiting for an exhibit dividers that I ordered at Office Depot to be delivered.

I have printed as much as documents for evidence such as phone bills and bank statement that are pretty heavy since they are monthly and detailed for almost 3 years from now. I am trying to have the application well organized to make the immigration officer's process easy and hopefully not get a request for more evidence.

Hello everyone and good luck! I have a question about the N400. When can you file that? I see a lot of people are filing their N400 while their I175 is still pending. My wife and I just received our 18 month extension letter on 3-1. Thank you for your help!
