Generally current pay stubs and letter of employment if using current income will suffice. Can use tax transcripts/W2's to back it up but current current income is most important.

Are bank statements needed for the interview? I plan on sending the last two years of tax transcripts is that sufficient or does the embassy require more? Thanks in advance!

I took some bank statements from the months before my interview (April 2018) where his salary was visible, just to be sure if they wanted evidence that my now husband does make enough money. They didn't ask for it, but better safe then sorry right?

At our Embassy, bank statements are not necessary unless you are submitting information on assets.  They want proof of income with current checkstubs at least 3 - 6 months, W-2's and taxes for the past 2 years.

Please ask your questions in our forum, as other embassies norms will get you denied.  JA is an embassy that will expect detailed proof as evidence.

Thank you for your response!! I couldn't figure out how to post it directly into the JA forum which is why I titled it interview at JA embassy. Thanks again!
