Nigeria U.S. Embassy Interview Wait Time

Timeline

Me and my wife's documents were just approved by the NVC today, so now the next step is for them to contact the U.S. Consulate in Nigeria to schedule an interview for my wife. Please, for those who had had the same experience, how long is the average wait time for the U.S. Embassy to schedule interviews. I would like to know so I could have an idea of when to expect. Please and thank you!

We got our case complete Cc November 2 2018 and got the interview email December 17 2018 (45 days)

interview is 36 days after getting the interview email.

Timeline

It varies from case to case and embassy to embassy. From responses and timelines on this website, it appears that Lagos seems to be one of the busier/slower embassies. It took about six weeks from my CC to getting an interview scheduled.

Scheduling for the next months dates starts end of every month. So March scheduling will start sometime during week of 28th. Depends how many are in front of you and their PD dates at USCIS.
