Well, nearly none related to the US (one needs to file taxes if LPR and earning over minimum threshold...but the timing implies this would be the case for them either way).

Things like Canadian healthcare coverage require residency in Canada, which terminates when you enter the US on an immigrant visa.

You've been married over 2 years now according to your timeline so I don't see any need to avoid using your visa and then heading back to Canada for a couple months. This way you will have your 10 year  GC and presumably you SSN when you make the final move(will make things a little smoother I would imagine). This is unless you are worried about the Canadian healthcare thing.
