I think our interview in Honolulu today might qualify. At promptly 2pm, we went into the office, got sworn in, and then began. The interviewer was very friendly, asked a few absurdly simple questions like "What date was your wedding?" and "What is your address?". She was shuffling through all the documents from the I-485 submission all the while, making jokes, and complimented me on the organization of the paperwork. Before the interview, I was a bit nervous that we didnt have enough evidence, but she never asked for a single piece! Not one photo, one bank statement, not even the vaccination supplement. The whole interview lasted 10 mins, and Gie and I were in disbelief as we walked out at just how simple it was.

I have to give you all alot of credit, I couldnt have done it without ya! Thanks so much for all the help, and looking forward to helping others when I can. :thumbs:

Note: I immigrated from Canada, not T&T - the timeline is reflective of this.

PRESENT - IR-5 Story (reuniting a family)
I-130 for Parents - 2013
Aug ?? - mailed I-130 packages for both mother and father
Sept 10 - NOA1 date
Sept 16 - NOA1s received

2014

Feb 25 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office for processing

Feb 26 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred to my local office for processing

Feb 28 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

Mar 18 - got emails saying that the petitions are approved smile.png

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Congrats for a successful interview , Wish you wil get your GC soon as possible , By the way they never tell you , They will approved you as soon as FBI background check is cleared . Good Luck

Seems like yesterday was a good day for interviews..... Our stories are very similar except I'm in Arizona instead of Hawaii.... my interview was at 8 am... but we weren't called in til 20 after... and the simple question was not "when was your wedding" but "When is your birthday".... I had to answer "6 days from now". I was feeling exactly as you did not sure if I had enough evidence... but yeah other than my passport she asked for nothing. And today in the mail I got a letter from the office that my case was approved. (but, she had already told is that... and I got 2 emails from CRIS). I hope you get your card soon... best wishes,
