I am curious how accurate the timeline is for the estimated adjudication date? I guess it would be best to hear from people who have recently had their i-129F adjudicated perhaps for the best answer in line with current trends.. Thx

Since it is based on accurate information posted by members it is subject to some error.  In addition, the USCIS times expand and contract all the time, including but not limited to holiday slowdowns

mine actually came in 3 weeks ahead of prediction

YMMV

It's a pretty good estimate on average timelines. Sometimes it lags a bit when things slow down (but tends to be more accurate when things speed up).

There is no way to know when an individual case will be adjudicated, though...one could be a month early and another 5 months late for seemingly no reason.

Timelines:

ROC:

Thx for the replies. I figured in the unique factors like possible problems with the packets and other possible scenarios where the USCIS may loose or misplace things. In those cases I imagine the times could be way off. I was curious to hear from someone who has recently received their NOA2. I guess it would help to see a few from recent recipients. I see how the holidays could affect the timing of those as well but I wouldn't imagine it will be a significant increase of anymore than a few weeks.

On the "processing times" link, the CSC is processing petitions with an NOA1 date of July 5th. Mine was on the 16th. I checked what seemed like just the other day and it was on June 28th so it seems to be moving along quite well despite the holidays. My estimated adjudication date is between today-Jan 3. I am praying it's accurate. This wait has been the hardest part.

Either way, it gives me little steps to look forward to. I was thorough with my packet so I hope it's a straightforward process for mine with no surprises.

It does lag a bit.  Last year when the changes in priorities were made our timeline started with  September 14 estimate.  When we were approved in March of 2018 the estimate was December 24, 2017!  It isn't bad but it does require people to update and as you can probably tell, many start by putting in their NOA1 date and then never update.  We were impacted by the huge changes in timelines between April 2017 (3 months to NOA2) and May 2017 (9 months to NOA2).  It took a while for things to stabilize.  Our VJ estimate for our CR-1 is Late February.  As September filers that seems aggressive to me.  It took us over 9 months for our K-1 earlier this year so 5 months for CR-1 is hopeful but I won't hold my breath.

Good luck.  I hope you hear something soon.
